SAVANNAH – Peter R. Sales, 71, died Thursday, July 28, 2011, at Memorial University Medical Center.
The Easton, PA native attended Swarthmore College and worked with his family's business, Harrison Sales Steel. Peter retired and moved to Savannah in 1998. He was a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Janice Michaels of Savannah; two sons, Michael Sales and his wife, Eileen, and James Sales, all of Easton, PA; three granddaughters; and two brothers, Joe Sales and David Sales, both of Easton, PA.
A Memorial Service celebrating Peter's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Oliver Mission Fund, c/o Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church, 429 Abercorn St., Savannah, GA 31401.
